My brother came down to visit me and he took me to breakfast and then to the aquarium because I really wanted to go. We walked around for hours looking at the fish, sharks, otters, turtles, and more. It was so much fun! I loved seeing the little kids be amazed with the fish as well.
What I learned from this experience was that we throw so much plastic into the ocean and we don't even realize it. There were displays that showed the types of trash thrown into the ocean and when they collected it. These plastics don't break down and end up wrapped around sea life and killing them. Even if we dont throw it into the ocean it still ends up in the ocean which is so harmful for our sea life.
I also learned so much about these fish and saw some I never thought id see. I saw so many sharks of all sizes and they were so interesting to look at. They also interact with some of these fishes so well I thought they would eat them but I was wrong. I also saw some flamingos which I didn't expect to see so it shocked me. I also saw a parrot and I've never seen one up close it was so cool.
